Simon has more than 20 years’ experience working in both the public and private sectors in Australia and the UK. He enjoys working collaboratively with his team to provide technical and pre-acquisition advice to deliver best outcomes for his clients.
Simon has a firm understanding of the commercial practicalities and processes involved in achieving good development outcomes and his particular realm of interest lies in residential, commercial and office and mixed-use sectors.
Simon has comprehensive knowledge of the Victorian Planning System and has a strong passion for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and industrial land use planning. He specialises in providing sound planning advice and project managing applications through the town planning life cycle. Simon often represents clients as an advocate at Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), utilising his strong advisory, facilitation and project management skills in the course of his work.
