The Project
The Strategy sets out a range of infrastructure-based, educational, promotional and advocacy initiatives which have been crafted to help achieve the community vision for Active Transport. A Pathway Plan and Bicycle Plan will accompany the Strategy and set out the future pedestrian and cycling networks.
The draft Strategy is currently out for exhibition here and we look forward to hearing the feedback that the community provides Council with.
Our Work
The project involved significant community and stakeholder engagement, including partnering with community engagement specialist CrowdSpot.
Throughout the process, the Borough heard from over 150 people who provided invaluable insights and ideas for walking, riding and wheeling around Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale, including important connections across the bay and to other parts of Geelong & the Bellarine.
