The Project
The Arden medical precinct, coupled with the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) and Royal Women’s Hospital, form part of a $5 Billion upgrade to develop the biggest hospital project in Australia’s history.
The new Arden campuses will focus on elective surgery, clinical trials, outpatient treatment, rehabilitation and women’s healthcare services. From 2025, the site will also be linked by the Metro Tunnel and connected to Monash Medical Centre.
Our work
Ratio’s Transport team conducted impact assessments on the surrounding road network, provided design input to the surrounding road infrastructure, and internal site car parking, loading and patient access arrangements.
Additionally, as part of our ongoing involvement at the Parkville RMH campus, the team assisted with the assessment of decanting services from Parkville to the Arden campus to facilitate the ongoing expansion of the Parkville campus.
