No. 58 Wattle reflects excellence in design and delivery by developer Underline with a residential project that balances function, aestheticism, and future-facing finishing.

The development was designed to provide a top-tier product in the competitive luxury downsizers market, with a focus on liveability, longevity, and long-term value.

The Project

No. 58 Wattle is a considered collection of seven three-and-four-bedroom townhouses set amongst landscaped surrounds.

The development prioritises luxurious liveability while paying homage to the established oak tree in the site frontage and the heritage surrounds.

Our Work

Our planning team was involved with the project since its 2020 inception. The initial town planning approval required the retention of the Algerian oak within the front setback and was granted by VCAT.

The site was subsequently sold to Underline in March 2021. To enable construction to commence, the strategy was to obtain endorsed plans with the former design approved by VCAT, before seeking to amend the permit with the further amended plans designed by Ewert Leaf.

Amended plans prepared by Ewert Leaf were lodged in July 2021 and an amended planning permit was granted in March 2022.
