Cunningham Place will extend across 17 storeys with a 5,000sqm conference centre, 650-seat auditorium, supermarket, 168-room hotel, restaurants, co-working office space and residential apartments.
Our Work
Ratio’s urban design team provided built-form analysis and advice to Amber Property Group in relation to the Central Geelong Framework Plan and Amendment C431 to the Greater Geelong Planning Scheme.
This included a detailed review of the existing and planned built-form context and the proposed planning controls and led to recommendations for refinements to the proposed controls.
The team’s analysis and recommendations were presented in expert evidence to the the Central Geelong Framework Plan Advisory Committee who reviewed Amendment C431. This ultimately enabled the permit application at 35-37 Corio Street to be approved following the gazettal of Amendment C431.
