This remarkable development consolidates two sites, the first of which is a former bank building that remained vacant for decades.

The considered development restores the heritage façade which is built to the Burke Road frontage and the remainder of the site responds to this significant frontage.

The Development

The 7-storey residential development contains ground-level cafés, restaurants and retail opportunities with luxury apartments on the upper levels boasting uninterrupted views of the CBD.

The site is located in the Camberwell Village hub at the iconic Sofia’s restaurant.

Our Work

Our planning team lodged the town planning application and worked alongside Council officers and urban designers to gain support and ultimately succeed in procuring a permit through VCAT.

Our team further assisted our client throughout the VCAT process, briefing experts and lawyers in preparation for the hearing.

Next Stages

The development will be launched to the market in the latter half of 2022.
