The Project
Developed by JT Property and designed by Telha Clarke, 18-20 Wellington Street features twelve two-story townhouses over a shared basement. The modern aesthetic considers the historic context of Kew, featuring pitched roofs and brickwork to compliment the neighbouring open spaces.
Located approximately 100m from Kew Major Activity Centre and directly adjoining Recreation Hall Reserve, the site is highly accessible. While the site orientation champions these amenities, the design maintains privacy for residents.
Our Work
Our planning team worked through the Council application phase and supported the subsequent VCAT appeal to challenge the initial refusal. We achieved an agreement with objectors and Council at compulsory conference mediated by Best Hooper Lawyers and gained planning permit approval.
