Our Transport and Waste Management teams consulted on the Fairy Street site, the largest development of its type in Warrnambool.

The development’s sheer size and impressive visual appeal will make it a standout for the region.

 

The Development

This large mixed-use development in Warrnambool has over 6,500 sqm of office floor space, 905 sqm of retail floor space, 56 residential apartments and 84 serviced apartments.

Our Work

Our Transport team were able to justify the reduction of 49 car parking spaces (27 spaces associated with retail use and 22 spaces associated with office use) against the parking requirements for the Warrnambool Planning Scheme for the proposed mixed-use development.

Our Waste Management team prepared a Waste Management Plan (WMP) to accompany the town planning application. Our team devised a strategy involving separate waste storage facilities for each of the four building cores, including dual chute systems for the two central residential cores to ensure convenient waste disposal for residents.

The WMP was immediately endorsed by Council with no changes required.
