The project
Maroondah Quest is an 8-storey serviced apartment development over basement parking, catering to both short and extended-stay guests in the heart of Ringwood Activity Centre.
Designed by DKO Architects, the development provides quality accommodation and associated services within the activity centre, contributing to Ringwood’s evolving urban landscape.
Our Work
Our planning team initially secured the permit for this development in 2023 and has continued working closely with the client team and Council to gain approval for the amendment and ensure the project can be successfully delivered to market. We worked with stakeholders to achieve an amended design that balances operational functionality for future residents while maintaining the original architectural integrity and buildability.
Our transport team established appropriate car parking and bike parking rates, considering site characteristics, operational requirements, and the location within an activity centre.
Our waste team prepared a waste management plan addressing both Council’s requirements and Quest’s operational needs. With site access limited to a laneway, we carefully designed waste servicing to accommodate a 6.4m mini rear loader collection vehicle, while ensuring effective waste management without compromising site operations or Council compliance.
