The Project
The Beaufort Bypass consists of 11 kilometres of dual carriageway bypasses Beaufort, Victoria, and connects two duplicated sections of the Western Highway to the township.
Our Work
Our planning and transport teams were engaged to provide independent advice for the Environment and Planning Standing Committee as part of the EES considering the roots for the long-term bypass at Beaufort plan.
Issues raised in the project ranged from visual impact, acoustic impacts, native vegetation removal, detailed analysis of intersection design, access and interfaces with rural communities as well as economic impacts on the township
