The $48 million mixed-use development is situated in the heart of Geelong’s CBD, just minutes’ walk from the waterfront.

The proposed development will provide a pedestrian connection between Brougham and Bayley streets for access to Geelong station.

The Project

The 12-storey commercial development accommodates approximately 11,000 sqm of premium office space in Geelong’s CBD.

The development will provide 80 car spaces across two levels with four retail tenancy opportunities across the ground floor.

The site lies within walking distance of Cunningham Pier, Johnstone Park, and Geelong Gallery.

Our Work

Our town planning, transport and waste management teams were engaged to assist in the preparation and lodgement of the planning permit application. The proposal had specific regard to the draft and final versions of the Central Geelong Framework Plan and associated planning controls.

Our planning team worked closely with State Government officers to facilitate the project through the planning system. Our transport team provided technical advice in respect of car parking requirements in the context of the site’s central city location and proximity to public transport networks.

Our waste team provided a waste management plan allowing for a high level of waste separation into the following waste streams: general waste, recycling, organics, paper and cardboard, and e-waste, and the need for low collection frequencies minimising waste truck emissions.

Our integrated services team are delighted to celebrate a successful planning outcome that will contribute to central Geelong’s growing status as Victoria’s second major city.
