The Development
The double-storey childcare centre has a semi-underground carpark and outdoor play areas on both the ground and first floors.
Planter boxes have been installed on an acoustic screen to provide visual interest to the abutting residences. The site is located within easy access to the prominent Springvale Road.
Our Work
Our Planning team were engaged to consult on the development by the client after Council issued a Request for Further Information (RFI) requiring prompt and efficient planning advice.
The site is located within proximity of the Glen Shopping Centre and is situated on a triangular corner block of land which required particular attention to be paid to traffic management for the development.
Additionally, the site has a sensitive interface to the east which required our team to work closely with the architect to realise a design solution that would mitigate the off-site impacts.
The development will begin construction in the latter half of 2022.
