Clare has more than 30 years’ experience in architectural practice and urban design, as Director at Neometro Architects, then Design Director at McAllister Alcock Architects (MAA). In 2019 Clare commenced sole practice to combine architectural practice and urban-design consulting with part-time study, completing a post-graduate urban design research degree investigating the important street-level public-private interface.

As a multi-award winning, industry-leading architect and urban designer, Clare has extensive experience in multi-unit residential and mixed-use projects, with a focus on design quality. Clare joined ratio: in 2021 and brings her design review expertise, along with an understanding of the pragmatic aspects of commercial development, to provide urban design advice to clients ,and expert evidence to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
