Ratio’s planning, transport and waste management teams consulted on the residential development, achieving support through Council.

Construction will commence in 2022 with estimated completion in 2024.

The Development

The site comprises 18 apartments in two-and-three-bedroom configurations across three storeys with two levels of basement parking.

The residential development is conveniently located minutes’ walk from Middle Brighton Station and busy Church Street.

Our Work

Our planning team achieved unanimous support at a Council Meeting after working through objector and Council concerns by working collaboratively with the neighbours to facilitate the withdrawal of several objections.

Our transport team provided input into the design of vehicular access arrangements, access ramp and basement car park to ensure compliance with the applicable design standards and provide a safe and functional layout for residents of the development.

Our waste management team prepared a waste management plan which involved a weekly private collection from the basement of general waste, recycling, organics and glass. The team also provided a waste truck swept path assessment to ensure access is possible for the collection vehicle.
