Tim has over 45 years of experience in planning and urban design. He has contributed to the successful development of several significant Victorian projects throughout his career.
Building on experience in regional and local government planning across conservation and landscape significance, and lecturing in town planning at RMIT, Tim now provides expert planning and design-based advice to private and public clients.
This includes extensive practice in presenting evidence to VCAT and planning panels. Tim was also a sessional member at planning panels that included membership of the review panel of Vic Code (Medium Density Housing).
At Ratio, Tim’s focus is developing achievable outcomes for complex development issues. He regularly collaborates with architects, landscape architects and designers to resolve planning solutions responsive to both context and planning policy.
Through innovative placemaking strategies and design-led planning solutions, Tim is dedicated to making the planning processes work for the benefit of the community.
